Charles Bibbs is a prolific artist, gallery owner, art publisher, and philanthropist. He showed is artistic talents in elementary school while growing up in Los Angeles. In 1985 Bibbs decided to leave his business career in order to pursue his artistic aspirations. He founded B Graphics and Fine Arts to publish his artwork and has grown the company into a successful ethnic art publishing company.

By combining African-American cultural themes with African and Native American influences, Bibbs has created an instantly recognizable style. His work has also been influenced by the work of Charles White, Ernie Barnes, and R.C. Gorman. Many of
Bibbs' pieces revolve around jazz. His interest in jazz is clearly demonstrated by his founding of the Inland Empire Music and Arts Foundation, which produces an annual Southern California art and music festival while providing support for many art and music educational programs. Bibbs currently resides outside of Los Angeles in Moreno Valley, California.
