Kenneth Gatewood

    Positive images, a return to the past, and the spirit of innocence are what you'll find in this 16 month calendar by watercolor artist Kenneth Gatewood.  Gatewood is most notable for his world-renowned "baby sports images" in which he paints various sports superstars as he envisions they would have been as infants.  His subjects have included Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Joe Montana, Muhammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky and many others.  A native of Los Angeles, Gatewood grew up in a large family and credits his parents for encouraging him to utilize his God given talent to create.  With each delicate stroke, Gatewood empowers the viewer with a visual slice of the human spirit.  In doing so, Gatewood captures the spirit within us all.
